How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In 1984 When I graduated with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law, I had spent 14 years as a piano tuner. Microcomputers were coming into use, and I needed software to run my piano tuning business: namely, accounting and client records management. [During my senior year, I was the first person to take class notes on a precursor of the modern laptop. The dean approved, but the idea was so new that one professor did not allow the computer.]
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
This software is specialized to on-location service businesses. Its features maximize repeat business and minimize driving.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I am entirely home-based. Sales are through internet download only.
What type of payments do you accept?
Personal or company check made out to my name. I can work out an online payment if that is desired.
Which areas do you service?
English-speaking areas.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
This is a one-man operation.
What are your hours of operation?
When it is not Sunday and I am not asleep.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
