Private, non-public Montessori school with an embedded deaf education program.
Deaf children learn the English language through visual Cued Speech, spoken language, and American Sign Language as determined by the special services team. Deaf children with IFSPs and IEPs are welcome. We serve children from birth to 15 years old and have a strong support team with teachers of the deaf, a speech and language pathologist, and a language facilitator. We combine both hearing and deaf children in multi-age classrooms to support age-appropriate language and learning. We also provide state-wide outreach on Cued Speech.
