David Hansen specializes in custom hair pieces, professional hair cuts, and cranial prosthesis
For the man who wants a superior hairpiece that is undetectable, there is simply no one better to create it. He specializes in custom-designed hairpieces for men and he considers it an art form.
David has been cutting hair since age 12 and has been creating hairpieces since 1967. He has been involved in all aspects of hairstyling, including judging competitions and teaching students from all over the world. His awards include winning two World Championships, five National Championships, and seven different State Championships in men�s hairstyling.
David Hansen is unique in his chosen field. He doesn't compete with barbers, hairstylists, or volume wig manufacturers. He is personally involved in each step of crafting a system for each persons unique needs and is always available to them.
This is David Hansen�s philosophy: �I am a perfectionist and, many years ago, I realized that a large staff and production facilities could not meet my demands. My goal became to be the best in my field, not the biggest.�
This philosophy ultimately produced, and continues to produce, the best results for his customers: lightweight, undetectable, and meticulously designed hairpieces.

Men's hairstyling/men's custom hair replacement for men.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My father was a barber. I started cutting hair in the kitchen for 50 cents at 12 years old. I am now 74 years old and love what I do. I live and work out of my new shop at 1133 North Dearborn St and Elm , where I moved to in April of 2014 same phone number 312-943-8171
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I am a two time World Champion,5 time National Champion, 7 time State Champion, and USA and Canadian Championships. I have trained over 2000 barber and beauticians all over usa and Canada . I wrote a 44 page booklette "Baldness and It's Alternatives"
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have one location in Chicago 1133 North Dearborn St and Elm .I live and work here. no commuting.
