How long have you been in business?
As Cartage Home Remodelers, Inc since 2007, field experience twenty plus combined years.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a design and build firm- we work with our clients from concept to completion to assist in the re-designing of space for maximum efficiency as well as for realistic setting of budgets.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Growing up we (husband and wife) had experiences with our dads. One of the things that we immediately had in common. We both just loved the creation of it and the experience with our dads enhanced the learning experience, so now we do what we love.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are very sensitive to homeowner needs, we understand that home remodeling is an emotional purchase as much as a financial decision and we make sure we listen to our clients for these concerns.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our business model eliminates the need for a showroom and simplifies contact with clients. Our partner vendors provide access to their showrooms if necessary, however 99% of our past and current clients prefer the in home and online selection process we walk them through. It takes the pressure away from making last minute decisions and taking time out of busy family and work schedules.

What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, check, credit card acceptance, zelle.
Which areas do you service?
Chicago metro, northwest, west and north suburbs.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Our company is family owned and as we grow there are trusted employees trained and empowered to run as part of the CHR family.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
