Interview Q&A How long have you been in business?
10+ years. I began my photography career by shooting for the business and editorial sections for local papers in Minneapolis. In 2003 I interned with industry acclaimed wedding photographer Noah Wolf and commercial photographer, Jake Armour. In 2005 I began photographing events, weddings and portraiture under my own name. Having recently relocated back to Chicago (the home of my undergrad college Columbia) I am excited to get back to my roots to help other small business owners strengthen their web-based presence.

What is your primary product or service?
Professional photography geared to meet the needs and expectations of small businesses.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I see a need for small businesses to obtain affordable clean professional imagery for their web and print presence. I feel great about being a contributing factor to their professional growth and success.

How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
SLBangs Photography focuses primarily on the photographic needs of the small business owner/establishment in polishing their internet/print imagery. I offer competitive, cutting edge imagery with a high concentration on meeting the individual needs and preferences of small business identity and personality. I believe that each small business offers their customers a unique viewpoint as well as products and services. It is my goal to capture and present this unique viewpoint in order to strengthen and expand their potential consumer base.
