How long have you been in business?
3 1/2 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Dog Walking, puppy care, sr. dog care, feline care, and overnight petsitting.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am an early retiree coming from an industrial background. When I moved to Chicago I saw all the dogs the city has and decided to start a pet care business. Prior to starting Millennium Dog Walkers & Pet Care I researched many of the pet care services in the city and found many were not customer friendly, and this is what spurred me to start my business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We leave a report card on every visit, we have a customer friendly cancellation policy, we have excellent walkers that go through a background check prior to joining our team, and if a client wants a text after every walk or a picture of their pet we're happy to do it.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have 1 location whose service are is Foster Ave. on the North, 18th St. on the South, the lake on the East, and Western Ave. to the West.
