How long have you been in business?
The Sugar Grove Golf Center has been selling buckets of balls and giving golf lessons for over 30 years. The Sugar Grove Family Fun Center our sister business will be starting year number 12.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a lighted golf driving range and golf learning center. We have 5 golf pros on staff and have golf lessons available 7 days a week. This Family friendly golf range also has 2 mini-golf courses and a Family Fun Center with go-karts and more.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My father owned a golf driving range in Chicago. He started working there in 1946. After my college I bought his golf range and then purchased the Sugar Grove Golf Center in 1989.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
At the Sugar Grove Golf Center the customer is king. We treat our customers like family. We open early and close late to meet the needs of our customers. We offer golf lessons, but if you need a free golf tip we are there to help.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We only have the one location for now.
