How long have you been in business?
Vince's Italian Restaurant in Harwood Heights has been around for 30 years. Nuccio and Rocco have owned Vince's since 2001, but have both worked in the restaurant since childhood.
What is your primary product or service?
Traditional and Specialty Italian Dishes including Pastas, Seafood, Veal, Steak and Chicken, Chicago Style Deep Dish, Pan and Thin Crust Pizza, Extensive Wine List and full bar with over 30 Vodkas
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Nuccio and Rocco grew up in Bari, Italy, where they learned the ways of traditional Italian cooking by watching their mothers cook. Over the years they each observed and worked at Restaurants and Pizza Kitchens, learning more and more as the years passed.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Vince's uses only the freshest ingredients and prepares almost every detail of every dish by hand. Our soups are homemade, pasta sauces are made to order, and ingredients are hand picked by the owners.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Vince's is part of RoccoVino's Inc., with a total of 3 restaurants. Vince's Italian Restaurant in Harwood Heights, IL, RoccoVino's Italian Eatery and Cafe in Elk Grove Village, IL, and RoccoVino's Italian Restaurant in Carol Stream, IL. RoccoVino's Inc, and all three locations are owned and operated by Nuccio D'Argento and Rocco DeFrenza. In only 5 years this family owned business went from 1 restaurant to 3, and plans to expand further are always in the works.

Our delivery area spans through the surrounding neighborhoods and parts of Chicago and up to the O'Hare Airport area, Park Ridge and other suburbs. Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Savino 'Nuccio' D'Argento and Rocco DeFrenza are equal partners and owners of all three locations, and are always on site to ensure that our guests receive the best service and best food and the best price.
